Percussion Theatre: Hexalogy is an ongoing exploration of infinite possibilities, both the creative origin and enduring artistic vision of the Ju Percussion Group.
Hexalogy is a theatrical experience that emerges organically from music itself. Since its premiere in 2024, the production has brought together an outstanding interdisciplinary creative team, including creative facilitator CHENG Yung-Shan, lighting designer CHE Ko-Chien, visual designer WANG Ethan, stage designer CHEN Hui, and costume designer HSIEH Yi-Wen, collectively shaping its distinctive and immersive aesthetic language.
In 2026, as the Ju Percussion Group celebrates its landmark 40th anniversary, Percussion Theatre: Hexalogy returns to the stage with renewed depth and artistic refinement. Rooted in the continual exploration of music’s essence, the production reflects four decades of the ensemble’s creative evolution and artistic achievements. Through highly distilled theatrical imagery, precise physical expression, and an extraordinary musical language, Hexalogy reawakens the audience’s imagination of percussion theatre, delivering a powerful narrative experience that transcends words.
